Oat flour and urad dal, shaped into chips. Crispier than oats have any right to be. The urad dal adds protein and gives it the kind of snap that makes you eat three before you have registered the first. A bit of salt, a bit of spice, nothing too assertive.

Good with a cup of tea, or as the steady background snack of your afternoon.
